One Outside Clan per Conflict Deck

This rule sounds a lot like the AGoT 2.0 Banner Of the X where it let you splash in another faction, but only that faction, but built into the rules itself.

With what we've seen, do you think that will hinder deck building too much?

It is almost impossible to say before the release, but it obviously will limits deck construction for a reason. And if that creates a more balanced game, then great.

It makes sense, in an LCG- everybody is going to have access to all cards- it allows design to only worry about how any two factions play together, rather than any and all.

You still have to worry about how each card interacts with each other still, but you're right, less opportunity for weird 3-way interactions.

Unless they print out a stronghold that says otherwise (a la Alliance banner in AGoT 2.0)
